Harold & Linda Hall

harold & linda hall

Harold Franklin Hall (Pappy) of Snellville, Georgia passed away Thursday May 7, 2020.

Harold was born in McDonough, GA on January 30, 1942. Pappy spent the last few years caring for his childhood sweetheart and the love of his life, Linda (Frammy). Pappy enjoyed playing golf and working on his antique muscle cars. He loved to laugh and be with his friends and family.

Harold was preceded in death by his mother and father Alma Hall and J.T. Hall, and sisters Helen Hall and Maggie Hall Orr. He is survived by sons, Chris Hall, Jeff Hall and wife Lesley; sister, Betty Busher; brother, James Hall; grandchildren, Maddie Rose, Ethan, Jackson, and Isabella.

Linda Faye (Embry) Hall (Frammy) of Snellville, Georgia passed away Monday August 10, 2020.

Frammy was born in Atlanta, GA on December 13, 1944. Frammy enjoyed reading, working in the yard, cleaning, and being with her family. Frammy suffered a major stroke 6 years ago, but remained strong and steadfast in her love for her family and her friends. She loved to laugh and watch her soap operas. She loved spending time with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Harold Hall (Pappy); mother and father Nannie Embry and Noel Embry. She is survived by sons, Chris Hall, Jeff Hall and wife Lesley; grandchildren, Maddie Rose, Ethan, Jackson, and Isabella.

Linda and Harold loved each other dearly and were together almost 70 years. They were soulmates and their loving marriage is a benchmark for us all. They loved their friends and their families, and enjoyed helping anyone in need. They were second parents to many of Chris and Jeff’s friends and they loved those friends and treated them as their own children. Their grandchildren were the lights of their lives and helped keep them pushing through the last few years of their lives. They were two of the most loving, giving, and caring people you would ever meet. They will be missed, but are together again in eternity.

In remembrance of Linda and Harold, the Linda and Harold Hall (LHH) Memorial Scholarship is being established at Maxwell High School. Both Linda and Harold loved Maxwell and the opportunities it provides students. The yearly scholarship will honor a deserving high school student. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the scholarship fund. Checks can be written to Maxwell High School.
