  1. Jason you were my collaborative partner but I am most happy I had the opportunity to call you friend. I will miss our conversations over Facebook. Rest on my friend…until we meet again

  2. I just got word of Jason’s passing. It’s news that gives me great pause and profound sadness. While I never had the pleasure of working with Jason on a project, he was a friend, a fan, and a follower who was always quick to leave a positive message or comment, especially when I would need it.

My heart goes out to his family and friends. The loss of a loved one is never easy and we often find ourselves overcome with grief and emotion because we often perceive death, in all it’s apparent finality, to be a closed door. I believe in God and Heaven and that Death is perhaps the greatest of beginnings Humankind will never know.

I say do not weep for Jason’s passing. Look upon his works and smile. Know this is a man who had a sight and an insight to things most do not. He created something where there was nothing and for many of you, helped to further realize the vibrancy of your own characters. That’s a piece of him you have with you now. Treasure it, and be proud to share it with the world.

Jason Fernandez was one of us: an artist, a creator, a collaborator and a friend. Now he paints on a canvas grander than any of us will know in our lifetimes. He is with the stars and the light.

And that is truly something to smile about.

    God speed, my friend.

    And thank you.

  3. Even though we only talked a few times i felt in your words kindness and kinship you will be missed but not forgotten and i hope thoughts of you will continue to bring happiness to all your friends a family.you are at peace.

  4. Let me express my deepest heartfelt condolences to Jason’s spouse, siblings, family and closest friends. Please know that I have and continue to pray for you all during this very difficult time and loss. Jason was a dear friend and collegue now for 3 years and I will miss him very much. I know that no words can truly lend comfort during such a difficult time but let me express that Jason was truly a kind and humble spirit. A fellow creative with drive, determination and love for his craft. He was also someone I considered as being family.I will and do miss him so much already. I just spoke to him 2 weeks ago and hearing the news really shook me. He always called me ‘hermano’ and I feel that I have lost ‘un hermano.’ I miss you ‘Fuego’ and look forward to meeting you face to face in paradise.

  5. My condolence to the Fernandez family and friends of Jason. I met Jason in a Facebook group and did some artwork collaborations with him. The more we messaged the more found out what a great person he was. He will be missed dearly.
