  1. She was the sister I never had as we grew up together. She was always the one I looked up to and wanted to be like. She loved her family with all her heart. Heaven has another angel. I loved her, too.

  2. To all of those who loved my mom, I am sure she took your love with her and is in a better place. I am sure it comforted her in her final days. She was definately a light that brightened the world. I feel that a color has gone missing from every day. A color I couldn’t see but I always knew was there. I hope that color will return as I watch my son grow, but for now the world is bleak. I know she will be there when he gets married and his children are born always whispering ecouragement and words of love. Her life is a testimony of GOD’s great love for He hath all the Glory. I ask if anyone who has a story to tell to please write it down and send it to us We are triing to document her life for my son and the future. In that way she will live on in Legend for generations to come. Also if anyone wasn’t contacted by us please send me your contact information via email to

  3. She is my very best friend and the BEST mother anyone could ever ask for. I would gladly give my own life for her. I will miss her everyday for the rest of my life. I love you MOM!

  4. My son never got to meet his Nana & Aunt Linda was there to fill that void! She was a very dear person to me & will forever be remembered & missed!

  5. Freddy, I am so sorry for your loss. Linda was a beautiful girl. We had such great memories at LHS together. May God give you strength and peace during this terrible time.

  7. Freddie, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. It is so hard to lose a lifetime partner, may God bless you and keep you in his perfect peace. I have no choice but work tomorrow, Big Canoe, but Hazel will be coming by before funeral

  8. Our hearts are sadden that we will not see Linda(Nana) again on earth, but we trust that one day we will be reunited again with her in heaven. She was such a gracious women full of love compassion. She truly loved her family. Our family will miss those precious moments when we would always see her. May the Lord give you all his comfort and peace as your days continue., Freddie, Robert, Tracy, David, Tracie and the rest of the family, please know that God loves you and sees all of your sorrow. Trust and know in days to come the Son does shine brightly in your lives and he will give you Joy! We are here for you.

  9. CandleImageLinda was my sister-friend. I called her LINDER:) We had many capers together that we laughed our heads off about down thru the 45 years we were together. I met her at Fern Valley apartments. I was recently divorced, 3 little kids and no car. I went to a jewelry party where I met Linder. I asked everyone there if they would give me a ride to the grocery store, but no one stepped forward but Linder, and from that moment on we were soul sisters. After I moved to California, we talked on the phone daily, sharing our ups and downs, and always laughing about the ironies of life. In the words of Rhett Butler, in GONE WITH THE WIND, after Melanie died, he said “She was a great lady, A very great lady”. And that is how i think of Linder. I know she will be looking for me, and we will laugh our heads off again. Not a day passes that I don’t thin of you. A message only Linder will understand: Don’t tell NF anything about me. LOL! All my love for eternity, Carole
