Meredith “Merry” Hendry, 73, of Lawrenceville passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018. She was born on April 5, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, to the late William Bruce Wheatley and Sarah Ainsworth Wheatley and was of Episcopal faith. Mrs. Hendry was preceded in death by both her loving parents; a brother, Bruce Edward Wheatley; and a daughter, Laura Hendry Livery. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Roger Hendry; sons, David Bruce Galatas and John Edward Galatas (Traci); and two grandchildren, Jack and Sarah Galatas. A memorial service celebrating the life of Meredith Hendry will be from 3:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046. 770-277-4550.
