On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, Myna Kinner Whittington left this life behind to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was beloved wife, mother, grandmother great grandmother, and sister, and her love spanned those generations.

She is survived by her husband, Maurice Kevin Whittington, two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Dow and Laura Jean Bauman, two grandsons, Daniel Lee Dow and Tyler Michael Bauman, one great-grandson, Ryan Lee Dow, and a brother, John Kinner.

Her courage and grace was an inspiration to all. She survived polio at age 11,and two battles with cancer, with dignity and courage. She was strong in her Catholic faith, and to the very end, she was a lady.

    • I loved to call Kevin and speak with your mom. She sounded just adorable, her voice a delight on the phone, to the point I hoped that she would pick up. I miss both, Kevin who I met at Ack Radio in 1979, and throughout the years until your mom left us. His number is disconnected, if he’s still alive, please tell him that we always liked, respected and still do through the good memories of him.
