With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Navin Anthony Mursalim, age 48 of Lawrenceville, Georgia, on February 5th, 2021. Navin is our world, his family is his world and our family has lost our heart.

Navin brought calmness to anyone he met, his humble and polite nature left a lasting impression on anyone he crossed paths with. Navin is known for his respectful presence; he is also the most genuine, polite, inclusive, person and is very dedicated to his family and friends.

Born on November 13,1972, in Berbice, Guyana. Navin is the eldest son to Mary and Ivan Mursalim, loving husband to Kavita, devoted father to his princess Suhana, cherished brother to Nirvani, Nerissa, Niven, and Nirvin, devoted “UNCLE” to Joey, Rebecca, Mikey, Rihana, Shaun, Avinash, Rhiya, Remi, Roman, and a friend to so many people across various states and countries.

Navin and his family migrated from Guyana to the United States in 1985. Navin spent many of his first years in Atlanta venturing into sports and winning many trophies and awards in sports and within his profession; graduating from Tucker High School.

After graduation, Navin had a successful career over the past 18 years in the real estate industry, working for Wesley Apartment Homes.

Navin and Kavita married on May 2,2010. And soon after, the birth of their daughter Suhana on January 20,2012. The love of Navin’s life is Kavita and his very special Suhana.

Navin and his family share an extraordinarily close relationship. He and his dad are the best of friends. Navin loves his siblings, nieces, and nephews beyond measure. Navin’s relationship as “UNCLE” is more than just being an Uncle, he was a friend, a mentor, and a father figure. Uncle Navin had a knack for giving the best presents to his nieces and nephews. Our family has so many fond memories of playing games, taking road trips, and watching movies and sports nephews. Our family has so many fond memories of playing games, taking road trips, and watching movies and sports.
Navin has an unwavering passion for all sports; soccer, basketball, baseball, football, and especially cricket. His favorite teams include Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, and his very own Gwinnett Warriors.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, and kindness during this difficult time. Navin was and always will be, our world!
