Sola as she was fondly called by family and friends was born to the family of Prince Adeola and Gladys Omodara on the 22nd of February, 1971. Sola started her education at Sacred Heart Convent School, Ring Road, Ibadan in 1973 and later transferred to Omolere Nursery and Primary School, Akure due to the creation of new states in Nigeria. She proceeded and completed her High School education at St Louis Girls’ School, Akure. She attended College of Education, Ikere for her National Certificate of Education, after which she relocated to the United States of America in search of better opportunities. Sola tried her hands at different vocations, and eventually bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She secured a federal government job in Nevada, and spent her time between Atlanta and Nevada, while working on a Master’s degree.
It was in Atlanta, Georgia that she met and got married to her husband, Mr. Gbadebo Shobayo and the marriage was blessed with three lovely children; Amos, Gladys, and Joel. Sola was a woman of many parts, a social butterfly, and a rallying point. She was a God- fearing woman, who loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved music and singing, always smiling, no matter what she was going through.
Sola is survived by her husband, three children, an aged mother, brothers, sisters, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a retinue of friends. She will be greatly missed, but we know that she is resting in the bosom of her Lord, Jesus Christ.

I am deeply saddened by the death of Sola Shobayo, but deep in my heart, I know that a beautiful spirit lives forever.
John 11:25 – Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to Life.
Love and prayers,
Debbie Grant Holmes
The light of kind heart never dwindles. Beautiful souls stays forever lovely. Goodness never dies. Damsels stays eternal. An Angel goes home. Adieu till we meet again.
1. God be with you till we meet again;
By his counsels guide, uphold you;
With his sheep securely fold you.
God be with you till we meet again.
[Chorus]
Till we meet, till we meet,
Till we meet at Jesus’ feet,
Till we meet, till we meet,
God be with you till we meet again.
2. God be with you till we meet again;
When life’s perils thick confound you,
Put his arms unfailing round you.
God be with you till we meet again.
3. God be with you till we meet again;
Keep love’s banner floating o’er you;
Smite death’s threat’ning wave before you.
God be with you till we meet again.

To a siste so loving,so caring and true,
The times we’ve shared created memories forever
And kept us strong even when we couldn’t be together.

But what can I do my dear sister?
I pray someday we will meet again,
Where the pastures are green.

May Gbade, your children and the family find comfort in knowing you are safe in God’s hands and feel no pain. RIP
Shola Olushola, that was the name that I fondly called you.I didn’t even know that anything was amiss until I saw your obituary. To say that your demise was a rude shock to me, would be a huge understatement, I was mortally devastated beyond words.
I remembered you with fond memories. Your sweet smiles, your hugs, and your godly warmth whenever you worshipped with us or visits, endeared you, not only to me, but to all and sundry who came across you.
I will terribly miss you. Rest in peace, my dear sister. May God grant you an eternal rest in His kingdom.

You were a prayer warrior, one who loved God and our great evangelist. You took the job with grace and did it selflessly. You were always full of smiles and never a dull moment with you. So many memories of you sis Sola cause I have known you in church for probably 6 years or so.
