Lisa Dawn Saxon, age 49, of Dacula, formerly of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Monday, April 2, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, David, and daughter, Jessica. Lisa is survived by her son, Keith Saxon; sisters, Rosemary Patterson and Paula Weber; close family, Tom Cahill and Sandra Smith; numerous nieces & nephews; many beloved dogs. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rev. James Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 3, from 2:00-8:00 pm at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550. The things I will remember the most about Lisa all involve her stubborn nature! My favorite memory of Lisa was from when we were at Grandmama’s house and we all wanted to go swimming. My mom didnt like the idea. Lisa told my mom “Come on Beckie! You only live once!” Lisa was right… You only live once and I believe that even though she was taken from us so soon, she always lived her life to the fullest! I am glad that she will finally be able to rest and join David and Jessica in the gardens of Heaven.
Such a wonderful woman. I will miss her quick humor and wry smile. Sending prayers to all of you.
Lisa was a special lady. She will be missed !! I think she was the only person on this earth that could talk me into getting on a helicopter and flying out over the ocean . She was a great mother,wife, sister and friend.My prayers go out to the family.
I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES OF LISA. I REMEMBER MOST THE TIMES WE SHARED WHEN WE ALL LIVED IN NORCROSS. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY……REST IN PEACE LISA.
Lisa was a beloved mother and great friend! I feel truly blessed to have spent so much time with her growing up with Jessica. Each of my memories of Lisa are filled with joy and laughter! She always had a vibrant and young spirit. She will truly be missed. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Keith and the entire Saxon family.
