Troy Sharpton Jr. of Auburn passed away February 4, 2012 at Emory University Hospital. He is survived by his wife Martha and extended family Brother in laws, Larry and David Anglin, Sister in laws Diane Anglin and Launa Maddox, Uncle Jack Sharpton, several cousins and many good friends. He was a member of Harmony Grove Methodist Church in Auburn, also a member of Auburn Masonic Lodge #230 where he was the Past Master. Troy never meet a stranger and was always ready to help others. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, Leukemia Society or Food Bank of North GA. The funeral will be held Tuesday February 7th at 2:00pm at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rev. Joe Romigh officiating. Burial at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 Monday at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy. Lawrenceville, GA 30036. Martha you are in my prayers…truly Troy will be missed by everyone that knew him!
Martha, May you know that God is with you as you grieve the loss of Troy. May you feel the arms of Jesus holding you and giving you the strength you need. It is at a time like this, that we find comfort in knowing that this earth is not our home. Eternity with Almighty God is our real home and we are here for a short time. We know that Troy is with his Father in heaven and is free from all illness and pain and for that – we are so thankful. Troy’s kind and sweet spirit brought joy to so many people. We will always remember his smile.
