  14. My condolences to Ben, Pat, Amanda & family:
    Life is but a journey,
Full of choices that we make.
The paths that we decide on
and the detours that we take.
And even when the day comes that our time on earth has passed,
    Our spirits travel onward
as we find true peace at last.
My thoughts of Rob went back to Cincinnati; a delightful child. Although I have not seen him much as an adult I know he lead a full and happy life with many friends and deep love for his pets. God speed! Aunt Stella

  15. WOW! I cant believe the legend has left the building! Rob was always the last one to leave the scene. I found out the bad news from fellow darters in Va. We had some of the best matches ever and no one will ever have a better drinking buddy. My memories of Rob will be closer to the heart now! See you in the great gig in the sky someday, Rob…

  16. Not really sure how you say good-bye to such a freind to so many people for such a long time, but rest in peace Rob, you were one of the good ones. Wish I could have seen ya before you left us, would have loved to have just 1 more rematch – I know you heard that more than once or twice. See you on the other side brother!!

  19. I am overwhelmed with sadnesss on learning of the passing of Rob. He was my special friend and patient at the Dekalb wound care clinic where we treated his legs. We spent many hours sharing funny stores and laughter while he waited to have his treatments. He never missed a visit even after being on the road for days. He loved his work, his family and his friends.
May the road you now travel be restful.
I will miss you big guy!

  20. CandleImageMay God be with you and bless you, Rob. I’ve had many an enjoyable evening shooting days with and against you, you are truly missed!

I just found this, I’m sorry I’m late, I was actually looking for some competition and some dart hardware… this is sad!

    • CandleImageP. S. I met Rob, sheesh, 30 years ago when we were all members of the G. A. D. A. (Greater Atlanta Darting Association) I played out of Trackside Tavern in Decatur, GA.

I was NEVER in his league, as far as I got was B Division. He was kind and didn’t mind shooting against someone at a lower level. He didn’t mind taking the time and teaching, I learned a lot from him. He pushed me to shoot better, he wasn’t lax when he played but I think he might have thrown a game or two when it was just huge and I playing just to help me build my confidence. He was truly one of a kind and again I say God bless him with prayers for his family and friends!
