Steven R. Holbert, age 64, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Mike L Holbert, SR and Isabel Beebe Holbert; sister Shirley Holbert Anglin. He is survived by his wife Denise S Holbert; son, Anthony Holbert; daughter, Cassie Holbert; grandson, Wesley Childs; granddaughter Carrie Holbert; brother, Mike L Holbert JR and wife, Debbie Allen Holbert; brother-in-law, Larry James Anglin; sister, Martha Holbert Smith and husband Michael W Smith; sister, Dorothy Holbert Hinkson; sister, Janet Holbert Walls and husband Billy Jack Walls; nephews, Kevin & Donny Smith, Joshua Hinkson, David, Brian & Jason Walls, Chris Anglin; nieces Amy Walls, Melissa Dorsey, Kimberly Holbert & Tara Childers; stepson William R Heard Jr and wife Mandi; stepdaughter, Alesha Heard King and husband Adam; Stepdaughter Melissa Denman and husband Chris; step grandchildren, Brandon, Bryson & Brenton King, Austin & Justin Cook and Skylar Evans. Steve was a loving man and will be missed by many. He loved spending time with his wife Denise, his family and all of his many friends. He enjoyed watching football (Go Dawgs) and NASCAR. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Steve’s life on Sunday, May 27th and 1:00 p.m. at Wages & Sons Funeral Home 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy Lawrenceville, GA 30046
