`A special angel went to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 10th, 2018 with the passing of Sylvia Jean (Mincey) Miller of Covington, GA after 68 wonderful years. Sylvia was born at Emory Hospital on July 24th, 1950 to her parents Roy and Lillie Mae Mincey of Stone Mountain. She is survived by her husband James Miller of 42 years of marriage, sister Linda Baker and brother Jerry Mincey, son Jeff Miller and girlfriend Ashley Billings, son Jamie Miller and daughter-in-law Katie. She was blessed to be the loving grandmother known as “Maw Maw” with nine grandchildren, JR, Brooke, Jim, Gray, Riley, Chelsea, Joe, Zack, and Blake and great grandmother to one great granddaughter, Hayden Grace. She was preceded in death by her sister Patsy McAllister. To some she was also known as Jeannie or Jeannie Bean. She was truly an angel loved by all who knew her and whose hearts she touched with her kindness. She was “one of a kind”. The family will receive guests Saturday October 13th at Wages Funeral Home in Stone Mountain from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Wages Chapel in honor of her life on Sunday October 14th at 2:00 PM. The family will accept flowers from anyone whose heart leads them to send them to Wages since she loved flowers so much. Wages Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, GA 30086
