William Edward Meeker

MEEKER, William Edward William Edward Meeker, age 90, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Monday, February 6th, 2017. William was born January 21st, 1927 at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, Indiana to Kenneth Duane Meeker and Margaret Louise Kriegbaum. Who have both preceded him in passing. He graduated from Elkhart High School in 1945. And entered the United States Army in June of 1945, where he was a Lab Technician and PFC stationed at Fort Logan, Colorado. He was honorably discharged in December of 1946. A year later, William married his wife, Joanne, on August 31st, 1947 in Elkhart. He is survived by his wife: Joanne; children: Douglas, Margot, James and Gary Meeker; grandchildren: Thomas Meeker and Sandra Walker; great grandchildren: Alana Johnson and Cameron Walker; brother: James Meeker; and nephew Alan Bigelow. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Arlington Memorial Park with Father Kirtley Yearwood officiating. Intermit will follow.
