What a beautiful tribute to our beloved George. I feel fortunate to have known George and enjoyed his good humor on so many occasions. May he rest in peace and remain in our minds and hearts. Goodbye my friend.

First met George in junior high up in Ohio. As you all know, he was a family man - first and foremost! When three of us formed a folk/country music group in 1960, we asked George to work as our string bass player. He turned out to be the star of the show wherever we played because of his constant "grin" and antics on stage. Later, when the crew of us learned to drive around Columbus, George was the best driver and he really appreciated automobiles and "cruising around the hamburger joints." I never remember this guy getting depressed about anything - teenagers need to be around pals like that in order to stay positive and in line. His family was like that and, boy, did he pick a perfect lady in Laura to share a great life together! Here's to one of the finest human beings I ever met - George's life was truly a celebration. Well done, old friend!

When I started at TA George took me under his wing. He was not only a mentor but my good friend! He taught me a lot and I will always be grateful for that. We had so many fun trips together! He always had a smile on his face and never had anything bad to say about anybody. George was loved my many and we lost a good one. Love you Georgie....rest easy my friend
