Arjune Persaud, a cherished resident of Norcross, GA, passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on August 19, 1955, in Hague W.C.E., Guyana, Arjune lived a life full of dedication, love, and service.

Arjune worked as a firetruck technician for the City of Atlanta, where he was known for his skill and commitment to ensuring the safety of his community. His professional contributions were matched by his personal impact, as he was deeply loved by his family, neighbors, friends, and members of the Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Amrita, and her husband, Marcus Spocinski. Their love and support were a great source of joy and pride for Arjune.

A visitation to honor Arjune’s memory will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on June 13, 2024, at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046. A funeral service will follow from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on June 14, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, reflecting Arjune’s courageous battle with the illness. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his legacy of love and service will continue to inspire.

Arjune Persaud will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. His presence will be greatly missed, but his impact will remain everlasting.
